Had a cozy stay at Family Home! The rooftop garden was a great chill spot, and the staff really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Just a heads up, some furniture felt a bit worn out, but honestly, I loved the vibe here.

i was almost ready to give a high rating until i encountered the dreadful water pressure and hot water problems, oh how very charming! plus, the sheets had holes, so cozy! i clearly expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles? ! that would have been infinitely more graceful than the chaos that ensued.

Ask for the rooftop garden for a peaceful breakfast and stunning views of the city.

It was a decent option for a momentary visit in Kathmandu with good value. The free breakfast included clean drinking water, which was a nice touch. Be prepared for some noise in the area at night.

The room showed signs of wear, with cracked walls and discolored pillow covers dampening its appeal. The small washroom and persistent hot water delays were inconvenient, taking several minutes to warm up. Unpleasantly, there were also reports of cockroaches in the room, which is hard to overlook, especially after being moved due to the issue.

My stay at Hotel Family Home was delightful, with friendly staff who truly made you feel at home. I enjoyed breakfast in the lovely rooftop garden, complete with tasty options and a charming atmosphere. The location in Thamel was perfect for exploring.

I spent a month here, and the location was perfect—quiet yet central. The rooftop garden made breakfasts a delightful affair, and the staff's warmth felt like home.

Small inconveniences like the bathroom size and minor wear-and-tear in the room were noticeable, but these did not overshadow the overall experience.

The Deluxe Double or Twin Room was spacious and clean, much more than I expected. The air conditioning worked great, which was a lifesaver in the heat. Plus, the bathroom was tidy and well-kept. Really loved the roof garden area, perfect for drinks after a long day exploring! No luxury vibes, but you get good quality for the price.

Fantastic location in the heart of Thamel, where I stayed in a clean and spacious Deluxe Double or Twin Room. The rooftop terrace provides a delightful breakfast with a beautiful view, and staff, especially the helpful Mr Dhan, go above and beyond to assist with tours and transport.

Nice place with amenities like 24-hour reception, air conditioning, and in-room breakfast. I remember when staff helped me find my lost car keys during my first stay. A tip, enjoy the lovely rooftop garden. I'm coming back for a holiday!

Staying here with two kids was delightful! The homely accommodation is nestled within a beautiful garden, making it perfect for family time. The rooftop breakfast area was a highlight, offering a lovely view. The manager was super friendly and accommodating, addressing all our requests.

For dads, it would be great to have more kids' activities.
